This Year's Theme:
BALANCE
The world is on fire and we hear the children's cries, but we are still called upon to care for our own communites, our bodies and our souls. How do we balance the need to open our hearts and protect our hearts simultaneously?
How do we exist in a modern world of constant screens while honoring our ancient inheritance?
We only need to call on Mother Earth to show us the way.
We are the wise women on the edge of the forest, communing with the nature spirits, embodying the elements, singing to the fires and building altars to the goddess.
Each day we must find a way into balance to honor our most wild souls in the modern world.
Let's return to the forest together and recall our wild souls. We will draw on the energy of the Full Moon to guide us into equanimity, to care for ourselves and each other, so we may return to the world with internalized harmony, grounded energy and mud under our nails.

Forest Bathing
We'll begin our event with this a 2 hour journey into the liminal realm where the forest will open us to the limitless possibilities of rewilding our spirits. Forest Bathing ends with gathering for forest tea.

Nature Altars
with Amanda Montgomery (TBD)
Creating nature altars is a playful and profound way to get intimate with the landscape around
you. They are both an expression of beauty and gratitude.

Fire Ceremony
Perhaps there will be fire. Maybe dance. Probably drumming. We will share a manifestation spell together, using the twilight space of the full moon to conjure magic and a sense of centered equilibrium for the months ahead.
Who knows what tent dreams we may have?

Song Circle
with Opal McCarthy (TBD)
Learn new songs and discover your own in an informal song gathering to build energy and share our voices.

Gentle AM Yoga
Bring your mat or towel and join us by the river to allow the sounds of a new day to guide our meditation and slow movement practice and emobdy the previous night's intentions.

Guided Nature Journaling
To conclude our weekend together, before crossing the threshold back to our modern lives, we will gather by the river and, using gentle writing prompts, journal about our time and what we are bringing away with us from the experience.
Not all of us are comfortable camping or have camping gear and some of us are old pros. We will support each other when the need arises, creating a safe space to ask for help from each other whether if it is being witness to heavy emotions or lending out a tent or giving a hand across the river.
“Fill your life with women that empower you, that help you believe in your magic and aid them to believe in their own exceptional power and their incredible magic too. Women that believe in each other can survive anything."
--Nikita Gill
